DIY scrumptious sugar scrub

Today I wanted to share with you an awesome sugar scrub that you can make your self for just a few dollars!!

There are so many benefits to use a sugar scrub in your shower!

•It makes the best exfoliater before shaving.

•Softens your skin by sloughing off dead skin cells.

•Promotes better circulation as you massage it onto yourself.

•All natural, you know exactly what’s in it since you made it.

The ingredients you’ll need are as follows:

•2 1/2 cups of white granulated sugar

•1/2 cup of coconut or almond oil your choice.

•10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil

•Jar with lid

My favorite scent right now is blood orange. I am so happy I found this essential oil by Plant Therapy. You can purchase the exact one I purchased here, But ultimately you can use any scent you like.

I think I will make a few for Christmas gifts in a peppermint scent. It smells amazing and it’s such a thoughtful gift!

Are you as excited as I am about this?! Ok let’s begin!

If you are using the coconut oil make sure to warm it up so that it becomes liquified. If using a microwave only 10 seconds at a time stirring in between.

Using a large bowl, pour the liquid oil into it. Next add your essential oil drops and stir well. Finally add in the sugar to the oil mixture while stirring at the same time. You can add less sugar if you prefer a more wet scrub. I like mine gritty so I use all the sugar.

Find a pretty jar to scoop the scrub into, add a pretty ribbon and label and ta-da your wonderful smelling scrub is ready to gift!

I hope you enjoyed reading up on how I make my diy sugar scrub for body or face. Let me know how you like it if you decide to make it!
